February was an intense month for us at SVA Group. We had the honor to organize and participate in several events, and we had the opportunity to represent different activities at Gulfood 2022.
Let’s talk about Gulfood 2022
We expected so much from the 2022’s edition of Gulfood, the world’s largest annual food and beverage fair, and that was what we got! Slightly less than 100.000 people attended the fair, and 4.000 companies came from 120 countries to exhibit their products and services.
The companies we represented had great results, and many leads and prospects came down the line.
Tolga Sezer, CEO of the multinational food company Solico Group, said about Gulfood: “Gulfood is the ultimate industry platform. Our contacts are all here, so it is a very important week for us, as a regional company, to generate business.”
Events we organized last month.
As mentioned before, Gulfood was not the only event we had in February.
On the 16th, at Innovation House, we had the opportunity to organize the event “Appraisal and evaluation, new challenges in the Italian real estate market.”. The event was done with the collaboration of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, Regione Lombardia, Real Estate Regulatory Agency of Dubai, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Università degli Studi della Campania, Real Estate Market Observatory, and many other partners.
Real estate was not the only thread we discussed in February. On 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, we had the pleasure to discuss the future of the Agrifood industry, organizing two events on the subject.
During the event of the 21st, at Innovation House, we discussed how Digital Innovation is helping build a Sustainable and Inclusive Agrifood System. Digital Innovation Observatories of Politecnico di Milano brought relevant research results and practical and successful business cases on sustainability-oriented innovation in Agri and Food drove by digital technologies.
On the 22nd and 23rd, at Innovation House, we discussed the cutting-edge solutions and new commercial opportunities in the Agri-Food industry. Among speakers, we allowed eight Agri-Food Tech Companies from Israel and Italy to show up and make a brief pitch of their ideas and aims. The event was sold-out, and many connections were born during the first day. On the 23rd, we had a tour of the Italian and Israeli pavilions at EXPO 2022, of Dubai Global Connect, and two of the major free zones of Dubai (DMCC and DIFC).
