{"id":76714,"date":"2021-12-23T15:22:12","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T13:22:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/svadvisory.com\/the-uae-hosted-the-22nd-conference-of-arab-culture-ministers\/"},"modified":"2022-12-12T17:22:37","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T15:22:37","slug":"the-uae-hosted-the-22nd-conference-of-arab-culture-ministers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/svadvisory.com\/en\/the-uae-hosted-the-22nd-conference-of-arab-culture-ministers\/","title":{"rendered":"The UAE hosted the 22nd Conference of Arab Culture Ministers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The <strong>22<sup>nd<\/sup> Conference of Arab Culture Ministers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>22<sup>nd<\/sup> Conference of Arab Culture Ministers<\/strong> took place at <strong>Expo 2020 Dubai<\/strong> last 19<sup>th<\/sup> and 20<sup>th<\/sup> December, after being postponed for a year due to Covid reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is held on a biennial basis with the first taking place back in 1976 in Amman, Jordan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Arab culture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each session is centered around a main topic concerning the <strong>Arab culture<\/strong>. Through the years, the conference has achieved significant accomplishments in various fields and has promoted several projects and initiatives to enhance the status of the Arab culture in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s focus was the review and the development of the<strong> Comprehensive Plan of the Arab Culture<\/strong>, specifically its <strong>modernization<\/strong> and <strong>how to unite Arab nations through cultural cooperation<\/strong>. This cooperation should lead to the registration of intangible heritage with <strong>UNESCO<\/strong> and to the development of the cultural and creative industries in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The conference<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference was hosted by the <strong>UAE Ministry of Culture and Youth<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Arab League Educational<\/strong>, <strong>Cultural and Scientific Organization<\/strong> (<strong><em>ALECSO<\/em><\/strong>); 21 ministers in-charge of cultural affairs in various Arab countries and other key figures attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>UAE<\/strong> play a pivotal role in the enrichment of the Arab culture and are a key partner of <strong>ALECSO<\/strong>. It is not a coincidence that the conference is taking place in <strong>Expo<\/strong>, the world\u2019s largest cultural platform, dedicated to celebrating the diversity of human cultures and providing an opportunity to learn about the ones of 192 countries, as the UAE Minister of Culture and Youth, <strong><em>Noura al Kaabi<\/em><\/strong>, noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another main topic of discussion has been the Arabic language, with the participants joining the opening ceremony of the Arabic Language Summit, and the signing of the UAE Declaration for the Arabic Language launched by <strong>His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees also participated in <strong>Al Burda Festival <\/strong>and Award which features intellectuals and innovators in Islamic culture from around the world, to enhance the UAE\u2019s position as a cultural hub and an incubator for creative arts through various dialogue sessions, art exhibitions, and performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The next edition of the Conference of Arab Culture Ministers is planned to take place in Saudi Arabia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FOR MORE <a href=\"https:\/\/english.alarabiya.net\/News\/gulf\/2021\/12\/11\/Comprehensive-plan-for-development-of-Arab-culture-to-be-discussed-at-UAE-conference\">INFO<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 22nd Conference of Arab Culture Ministers The 22nd Conference of Arab Culture Ministers took place at Expo 2020 Dubai last 19th and 20th December, after being postponed for a year due to Covid reasons.
